The art:
These are NOT photographs! At least not in a traditional sense. While all of the art you see started as photography, these are transparent images. If the images interest you, please get in touch with me to see them in person, with proper lighting conditions. Some images are processed in Photoshop. Some are not. They are then ripped and prepared for imaging on an imageseter. After imaging the film is processed and sandwiched in glass. The emulsion is silver based and should last forever.
The artist:
I have been experimenting with film and film images for almost 20 years now. First with a process camera, RC paper and litho film. As that technology is becoming obsolete, I have moved towards working with laser generated images. I own and operate a company that provides consulting services and equipment brokerage to the print and publishing industry. (not surprisingly, I specialize in laser imagesetters). When I am not playing with lasers and film, I am probably doing a house project, hanging out with my family, or playing some music.
